Official rules for participation
These Official Rules (“Official rules”) are a legally binding agreement by and between each entrant (“you”, or “your”) and GIANT MANUFACTURING CO. LTD, a TAIWANESE COMPANY having its main office at NO. 999, SEC. 1, DONGDA RD., XITUN DIST., TAICHUNG CITY 40763, TAIWAN (the “Sponsor”) that govern participation in “Win a stylish Momentum e-bike and arrive energized”(this “sweepstakes”). By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to abide by these Official Rules. Failure to comply with these official rules will void your entry. Sponsor is solely responsible for all aspects of this Sweepstakes.
No purchase necessary to enter or win this Sweepstakes. Void in Puerto Rico, all United States territories and possessions, and where prohibited by law.
1. Eligibility
1.1 This Sweepstakes is open to all residents of the 50 United States and D.C., Mexico and Taiwan who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in their place of residence, whichever is greater, as of the commencement of this Sweepstakes and who are not employees of Sponsor, their families, agents or third parties directly associated with the administration of this Sweepstakes
1.2 By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters.
1.3 Sponsor reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Official Rules.
2. Entry Period; How to Enter
2.1 Entries are accepted between July 9, 2025 at 00:00 PT and August 31, 2025 at 24:00 PT (the “Entry Perio). Any attempted Entries received after the Entry Period will not be considered.
2.2 You may enter this Sweepstakes (once entered, an “Entrant”) by visiting https://www.momentum-biking.com/global/arrive-energized (the “Event Page”) and following directions to subscribe to Sponsor’s newsletter at any time during the Entry Period. Your participation in this Sweepstakes is confirmed when you receive from Sponsor an email request for confirmation of your subscription and click on the “YES, I WANT TO SUBSCRIBE” button.
2.3 Each Entrant is permitted one entry in this Sweepstakes, regardless of the method of entry.
2.4 Sponsor reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
3. Drawing
3.1 A random drawing performed by a computer process will be conducted by Sponsor within one (1) week following the last day of the Entry Period, to select one (1) winner from among all eligible Entrants.
3.2 The odds of winning will inherently depend on the number of Entrants.
3.3 The winner will be notified via email (using the details provided at entry) and must sign and return any required documents within one (1) week of the winner’s receipt of email notice. Failure to provide a timely response will result in forfeiture of the prize, and Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate winner selected via a random drawing of all other Entrants received during the Entry Period. The return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected via a random drawing of all other Entrants received during the Entry Period.
3.4 All income or other applicable taxes resulting from acceptance of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
3.5 Sponsor must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place (including, but not limited to, sending an Award Announcement Email to all eligible Entrants). To comply with this obligation Sponsor will send the surname and county of any winner, to anyone who contacts us via the Award Announcement Email within one month after the closing date stated in Section 2.1. If you object to your surname and/or county being published or made available, please contact us via the Award Announcement Email. In such circumstances, Sponsor may still provide the information and winning entry to a competent authority on request.
4. Prizes
4.1 The winner of this Sweepstakes will receive a Voya E+ electric bike (the “Prize”) selected and provided by Sponsor or its partner(s), with a retail value under US$5,000.
4.2 No substitution or transfer of Prize by the winner is permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value, provided that the maximum total value of the Prize available in this Sweepstakes taken as a whole is less than US$5,000.
4.3 Sponsor will arrange the Prize pick-up with the Sweepstakes winner. If a consensus on pick-up cannot be reached, the Prize will be sent to the winner by post within 60 number of days of the winner providing any required documentation.
4.4 The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered. However, Sponsor reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control make it necessary to do so.
4.5 Insofar as is permitted by law, Sponsor, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Sponsor, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
5. Representations and Warranties; Indemnification; Limitation of Liability
5.1 You represent and warrant that, at the time you become an Entrant:
(a) You meet all eligibility requirements set forth in these Rules, including age, residency and other applicable restrictions, and have full authority to enter the Sweepstakes;
(b) You are in compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in connection with your participation in the Sweepstakes;
(c) Your participation in the Sweepstakes, and the granting of the rights described in these Official Rules, does not violate any agreement or obligation that you may have with any third party; and
(d) All information provided by you to Sponsor, including without limitation all Personal Information, is true, accurate and complete.
5.2 Your violation of Section 5.1 will result in your disqualification, and you shall return, at your cost, any Prize received if you have been declared a winner. Sponsor may award the returned Prize to an alternate winner selected via a random drawing of all other Entrants received during the Entry Period.
5.3 Subject to any applicable law, by participating in this Sweepstakes, you waive all right to, and shall defend and hold Sponsor harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize. Sponsor will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; failure to receive prize notices due to spam, junk email, other security settings, or incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed electronic communications, regardless of the cause of such failure. If, in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any error in the administration of this Sweepstakes, or any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of this Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes in a manner deemed appropriate in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
6. Privacy
Sweepstakes
6.1 Personal information, including first name, last name, email address, and the country you live in (together, “Personal Information”) provided for this Sweepstakes will be used for the purpose of the drawing (Section 3). Sponsor will use the Personal Information to contact the winner, and collect residential address and other information from the winner to complete the delivery of the Prize and taxation thereafter (where applicable). Such processing will be undertaken on the basis that it is necessary for Sponsor to perform the contract entered into with you, as set out in these Official Rules. Certain other processing may occur where it is in Sponsor’s legitimate interest to do so, in order to administer the Sweepstakes (e.g., if winner information is requested).
6.2 The collection, processing, and use of any Personal Information might be performed inside Taiwan and in other locations of Sponsor. All Entrant Personal Information will be stored and processed in the US. Where necessary in accordance with applicable law, any transfers of Personal Information to a jurisdiction that has not been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for Personal Information shall be subject to an appropriate safeguard, such as standard contractual clauses.
6.3 The Personal Information will be retained during the Entry Period and for a reasonable period thereafter for the administration of the Sweepstakes. For so long as you agree to receive direct electronic marketing, then your Personal Information will be retained and used for this purpose (see below).
6.4 You may agree or decline to provide any Personal Information. However, if you do not provide any Personal Information, you will be unable to participate in the Sweepstakes.
6.5 You may request in writing a review of your Personal Information, make copies thereof, supplement or correct the same, cease the collection, processing or use thereof, and request the deletion of any or all of your Personal Information collected and stored by Sponsor. Direct Marketing
6.7 In entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to receive direct electronic marketing from Sponsor related to Sponsor’s relevant goods or services.
6.8 You can opt-out from such marketing communications at any time by clicking the relevant link included in each direct electronic marketing communication. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect your participation in the Sweepstakes.
6.9 Where you remain subscribed to receive direct electronic marketing, your Personal Information will be processed in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy notice which is available here:

7. Choice of Law and Forum
7.1 You agree that all matters arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Taiwan, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions thereof.
7.2 You further agree that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the Taiwan Taichung District Court; provided, however, that (a) actions seeking interim, injunctive, or other preliminary relief and (b) actions to enforce any order or judgment of Taiwan Taichung District Court, may each be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction.
7.3 Notwithstanding Sections 7.1 and 7.2, if you are a consumer habitually resident in a country other than Taiwan, you may benefit from, and nothing in these Official Rules shall affect, any mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence
