How does the scheme work?
With Cyclescheme, you save 26-40% on your new bike through tax efficient payments. Once you’ve checked your the employer is signed up to Cyclescheme,
you can go ahead and ask us for a quote or place an order if you’ve already got a Certificate.
What is Cyclescheme?
Cyclescheme is a way to pay for your new bike through a monthly salary sacrifice. The payments are taken directly from your gross salary which means you don’t pay any interest fees and you reduce the amount of Income Tax and National Insurance you pay.
How much can I spend?
Most employers choose not to set a Cyclescheme order limit. This means you can get the exact bike or e-bike and accessories you need to cycle commute.
Visit cyclescheme.co.uk, select ‘I’m an employee’ and enter your employer’s name to see your limit.
Can I add my own funds to the transaction?
No, you can’t add your own money when paying with Cyclescheme as per the Cycle to Work scheme guidance
What happens with returns?
We hope you love your new Momentum bike, however, if you wish to return it, you have up to 28 days to return it from the date you receive the bike.
Any returned items need to be clean and have only undergone reasonable wear and tear to establish that it was not suitable for the intended purpose*.

Once our Rider Support team confirms your request, you can then return the unwanted item to the Momentum Hub where the order was collected (or in the case of home delivery, to the Momentum Hub who delivered your order).
For orders paid by debit card, credit card or PayPal, a full refund for the returned item/s will be initiated back to the payment method within 3-5 days.
For orders using Klarna, any debited monies will be debited back to your payment card within 7 days.
*Where the value of an item has been reduced as a result of the handling and/or use of the product, beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may either deduct an amount equal to any loss in value of the item from any refund due to you or recover such amount from you, as a debt from you to us.
How long does it take for my Certificate to be approved?
Once you have applied for your Certificate, the process typically takes between 3-14 days, depending on how quickly your employer processes your application. If you have an application in place, you can check

How often can I apply for a Cyclescheme Certificate?
The standard period for a Cyclescheme Certificate is 12 months. Some employers do offer 6, 18 and 24-month schemes. You will ultimately need to check with your employer.
